Become a Transportation Engineer
Do you want to learn more about robotics using LEGO®'s NXT as a futuristic intelligent vehicle?
Well, now’s your chance – come join us afterschool for this exciting, five week adventure into the future! You will actually learn to use the robotics software and see how to program the vehicle’s motors and sensors to follow a road, prevent traffic from slowing down and avoid crashes with people and objects. No previous experience is necessary.
At the end of the course, you get a CD containing the materials from the class. The robots will stay behind to be used with another group of kids so they will be able to experience the fun just like you! Information on where to purchase the robots will be provided.
The course will be taught by the University of Florida Transportation Institute.

When:Once a week after school for 5 weeks
Time: 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm
Limited Registration: Only 16 students per class!
